Leading like a Super Hero

 

What traits come to mind when you think about super heroes?

 

Bravery? It takes a lot of courage to take action and to make decisions sometimes.

 

Heroes are often seen as compassionate too, aren’t they? They help others, they listen, they bring forward the views of the unrepresented.

 

Collaboration, I believe, is also a key trait in a hero. No one can do it alone. It takes a network, a team, a Fantastic Four, a Dynamic Duo. It requires bringing people together to work toward a common vision.

 

Bravery, compassion, and collaboration. They’re traits of heroes.  But they’re also traits of great leaders.

 

As a leader, you may not have seen yourself as a super hero before, but you are!
